| Lysacek began skating at age 8. He gaduated from high school in 2003. Lysacek has two sisters, the older is a |
| student and the younger plays on a nationally ranked volleyball team. In 2003, Lysacek moved to California to train |
| with Carroll. Lysacek has acting experience and appeared in a skating movie. Lysacek qualified for the 2007 |
| Grand Prix Final in St. Petersburg but was forced to withdraw before the Short Program after suffering a hip injury |
| in practice. |
